This session is for new high school math teachers to St. Vrain, providing an overview of the Five Strands of Mathematics Instruction, Big Ideas A-G-A as our adopted instructional resource, and our curricular Unit Plans for high school mathematics. This session will also focus on the instructional practices that support all learners in mathematics with time for exploring Chapter 1 in Big Ideas.
