Reading through lengthy Expectations of Practice documents or Daily Look-Fors for elementary math can make it difficult to judge what “good enough” looks like in practice. Classroom videos with actual St. Vrain teachers and students can help us build a shared understanding of effective math instruction. By watching these videos, identifying observable teacher and student actions, and reflecting on how to improve our own teaching, we engage in a powerful cycle of continuous growth and improvement. This session showcases how classroom video was used for elevating the enVision Mathematics 2024 pilot.
