About me
"Trude Burnett has more than 35 years of experience working with students in public education both in inner city Los Angeles, as well as urban and rural Colorado settings. She has worked and continues to work with preschool through transition age students in the public schools.
Her passion is educating and advocating for all students with and without disabilities of all levels to be as independent as possible so they might lead fulfilling and productive lives.
Trude currently is on the Significant Support Needs Advisory committee for CDE in addition to various other state committees impacting our most complex learners and their communities. She is a Special Education Instructional Coach in the St. Vrain Valley School District and has presented statewide and nationally on boundaries to multiple levels of educators, parents, & guardians to help our students build and maintain positive relationships for life.
